Details

Second last dive of my Poseidon MkVI Closed Circuit Rebreather course with Fil Gray. It was to be immediately followed by the last dive but at 35 minutes my unit failed an oxygen sensor confidence test ("C1") and I had to switch to bailout.

Entered at The Steps and headed towards The Leap against the current. The plan was to try to get to The Leap in a little over an hour, surface and then do a second dive back to The Steps or The Monument. With the abort we ended up turning around and going to The Momument (due to a miscommunication between John and me).
