Details

Entered from the shelf west of the boat ramp and descended to the sand. Followed the main reef, up the big step near the outboard motor and along the flat and then down the ramp to the north-west reef.

We were on the hunt for pygmy pipehorses and trying to follow Michael McFadyen's directions to find them. While I found his directions somewhat confusing and they didn't match my mental map of the area, we not only found the matching landmarks, but Sheree managed to find two pygmy pipehorses. I accidentally found a third that was hanging on to the same piece of weed as the first. We spent much of the dive with the pygmy pipehorses.

We returned the way we came and exited at the boat ramp.
