Entered at The Leap. The visibility at the entry wasn't too bad and as we descended it was much the same. When we got to the sand line it was bad - maybe 3-5 metres with a lot of particulate matter in the water. Most of it seemed to be lying on the bottom and being stirred up by the swell. It was not very conducive to photography as can be seen from the photographs.

We swam towards Seahorse Rock but it was tough seeing where we were going. We found "Kel" and "Bob" on the rock behind Seahorse Rock. There was no sign of "Rosie". Sheree found "Rosie" on a low rock next to the one they are normally on.

We then then headed on to "Southern Cross" who was on her usual rock with "Richie" and "Pierre". "Pierre" looked very deflated as if he'd recently given birth. We continued on to The Steps along the sand line, seeing a couple of weedy seadragons along the way. The visibility improved slightly.

The basket star was in its usual location as was the Miamira magnifica nudibranch. We were able to find the tiny orange painted angler, "Little Andrew", but the yellow undescribed angler, "Big John", was not on the rock where we'd seen it previously.

After a 5 minute safety stop we exited at The Steps. We bumped into Noel and Dianna and they had not seen "Big John" the previous week so it appears he'd moved on.
