Entered at small bay around the corner from the flagpoles and headed down to the sponge garden. We had a quick look around the area for "Oliver", the yellow form undescribed angler from a previous dive, but couldn't find it.
We then headed towards The Steps to "Little Sebastien", the tiny yellow painted angler that we've now seen a number of times. The angler was on its usual rock. I looked around the area for seahorses but found none.
We headed back towards The Monument and had another look for "Oliver". I discovered a yellow form undescribed angler on the side of a large rock not far from where we'd seen "Oliver" before so I suspect this was "Oliver".
We headed to split rock to find "Beverley", another yellow form undescribed angler, but it was not there. George then discovered one on an adjacent rock and it is likely to be "Beverley".
We continued along towards The Monument and I tried to find "Earl", a grey form undescribed angler from last weekend, and "Lesley" and tiny red painted angler, but I could not find either, even though I was confident I was looking in the correct locations.
We swam passed where we'd previously seen seahorses and found none and then on to where "Little George", a tiny orange painted angler had been, and didn't find that angler either.
We headed around the corner and along the base of the wall. George hit 50 bar and headed to the beach. I continued along the base of the wall hoping to find "Angus", the tiny painted angler I had found previously. Sure enough I came on an angler that looked very much like "Angus".
I then headed up to the top of the wall and swam along looking for "Little Jennie", a grey form undescribed angler from a previous dive. I could not find it. I then headed towards the beach doing my safety stop along the way. I exited in front of the flag poles. |
