Details

For the second dive we thought we'd try the western side as it was calmer and perhaps the viz would be better. We entered the water along from the "boat ramp" and descended to the sand line. We followed the reef to the west, past the anchor (the outboard motor has gone) and over the reef to the left. We sung around to the right and down the "ramp" the to north-west reef. We swum around the based of the wall and headed west-south-west to the isolated reefs. The visibility was pretty good and got better the further out we went. There was also no surge. The scenery is beautiful but apart from the common nudibranchs there wasn't much to see. It got very cold out there.

We turned and came back to the way we'd gone, stopping at the base of the wall to check out some of the reefs there. We came back along the reef and exited at the "boat ramp".
