Details

We walked in from the beach at the western end of the netted area and waded and then swam out to the nets. On the way, Sheree found a tiny octopus in a shell.

We headed east along the nets checking for seahorses and also checking along the sand. When we got to the eastern end we headed out into the middle over the sand looking for interesting creatures.

We saw a number of southern dumpling squids of different sizes, including a tiny one, a blue-lined octopus, many southern calamari squid, a few blue-swimmer crabs, and pygmy leatherjackets of various sizes.

I tried to get some video of the blue-lined octopus but it was difficult with the surge.

We exited at the same point we got in.
