Entered at The Steps, descended to the sand line and swam towards The Leap. The visibility was not all that good, around 5 metres and dropping to 3 metres in places.

I thoroughly investigated the area where I'd last seen "Big John", the orange form undescribed angler, as well as the adjacent rocks but could not find it anywhere.

I headed back to the sand line and continued on towards The Leap. I swam all the way to where we'd previously seen "Dana", the red painted angler. I looked on the rock it had been seen last weekend as well as adjacent rocks but I could not fine it.

I turned and headed back towards The Steps. I stopped at Big Rock to look for pygmy pipehorses but did not find any. I then went to look for the Miamira magnifica nudibranch. It took me a little while to find the rock it had been seen on recently and once I found the rock it did not take me long to find the nudibranch at the base.

I continued along the sand line, past the basket star and on to look for "Big John" again. I still couldn't find that angler.

I ascended to 5 metres and did my safety stop in the boulders and then exited at The Steps. The low tide made the exit easy.
