Details

It was overcast with light rain at Bare Island as we were getting ready, but the seas were flat with hardly a ripple. You could see from the car park that it was very clear on the northern side of the island. It was going to be a great dive.

We jumped in on the western corner of the island and headed south as we descended. We dropped over the wall and followed it south east. The incoming current was quite strong. Sheree spotted a red indianfish and pointed it out to me but PJ and Ian were too far along.

We turned and headed back along the wall. As the wall came to an end we headed up to the second wall. PJ spotted a very large giant cuttlefish in a cave which we watched for a while.

As we moved along the wall, we found a painted angler. This one was much larger than the ones we had seen previously.

We followed the wall around further and came across another giant cuttlefish. We followed the wall all the way around the north west tip of the island and up the slope to the northern side of the island. We exited at the ramp.
