This was the first time we'd dived at Fairlight and didn't really know what to expect. While there weren't as many interesting critters as we see at Kurnell or Bare Island, there were loads of fish and it was an enjoyable dive.

We swam out from the beach to the left and descended onto a wall. We turned to the right and followed the wall west. We made an excursion out onto the sand where we found a couple of small boats on the bottom. We headed back to the wall and along it the the navigation marker. Just past the navigation marker the visibility dropped significantly so we turned and swam back along the wall all the way to the other end.

We turned again and swam to out from approximately the middle of the beach for our safety stop. We fooled around on the safety stop and I discovered that I could blow bubble rings. It took a bit of trial and error but it was remarkably easy. I now have to teach Sheree how to do it.

After the safety stop we swam to the western end of the beach and got out.
