Details

It was overcast and threatening with rain at Bare Island when I arrived. There was a ESE swell but also strong westerly winds making it quite choppy. I wanted to get in on the western side of the island to shorten the swim to the wall but it was too rough. It was even too rough for a surface swim around the corner so I got in on the northern side of the island as far west as I dare and descended to the sand line.

I swam west and then south west and eventually south until I reached the wall. I descended the wall and turned to the west.

I followed the wall to the west until it ended and then started looking for the seahorses. It took me quite a while to find the first one, a yellow one, "Kim". It took me even longer to find the second one, "Della". I looked some more but found no others.

I headed north towards the shallow wall and when I found it, I followed it around to the west and then headed north. I cut across the top and ended up on the slope, following it east until I hit the boulders. I started my safety stop over the boulders as I swam to the exit. I exited at the ramp.
