Conditions at Bare Island were fantastic again. There was almost no wind and no swell. I was able to jump in on the western side of the island, just south of the north west corner. I descended and this time headed south west at around 240°. I wanted to see how close I could get to the seahorses. I still hit the wall but this time I was right near the end and only had a very short swim to the seahorses. I got thee in under 7 minutes. Visibility was around 10 metres. I spotted "Andrey" almost immediately because he's yellow. It took me a little longer to find "Della" even though she was out in the open as she usually is. It took a bit of hunting to find "Tomas".

I headed along the reef for a short distance and then headed north up a gutter where I found a large red indianfish. When I approached this guy he started swaying to and fro and with each to, it moved more than the fro so the net was for it to move along.

After leaving the red indianfish I headed north to find the shallow wall and then I followed this around to the north west of the island. I had plenty of air so I started looking for pygmy pipehorses. I spent a lot of time on (what I think is) Seahorse Rock but only found a cuttlefish, a few sea hares and a couple of interesting nudibranchs. As I headed towards the exit I checked out more rocks but I was still not able to locate the rock that has a lot of pygmy pipehorses on it.

I did my safety stop on the way back to the exit and got out just to the west of the ramp.
