Details

The second dive of the day and my second dive at Henry Head in a week after an absence of nearly 18 months. We swam down the anchor line and after securing it headed to the sand line. We encountered a weedy seadragon only a few metres from the anchor.

We headed off in search of seahorses and Sheree pointed out two red indianfish before we even got to Seahorse Rock. There were no seahorses on Seahorse Rock or the surrounding rocks so we followed the sand line to deeper water and around the corner. Along the way we saw multiple weedy seadragons (including a male with some eggs), lots of basket stars and a couple more red indianfish.

At just over half tank we turned and went back the way we'd come. As we got to the anchor line, Linda, Joe and Dan were just making their way down. We did our safety stop and went back to the boat.
