I got in from the low platform, descended and swam at around 60° to the sand line. I arrived at the amphitheatre just to the south east of Pygmy Rock. Visibility was at least 10 metres and there was a gentle surge.

I swam to Pygmy Rock and spent around 5 minutes looking for pygmies but found none. I then swam on towards The Steps. Just past Seahorse Rock I found a weedy seadragon. I found another in the usual spot in the gap between the large rocks. I found the bent stick pipefish on the flat sponge covered rock. Just before Southern Cross Rock I found a velvetfish. I wonder if it is the same one I saw yesterday just after Southern Cross Rock. I also saw the same Sufflamen sp. triggerfish on Southern Cross Rock.

In Seadragon Alley I saw n weedy seadragons, including the juvenile. After Seadragon Alley I saw another n weedy seadragons including the female with the deformed body.

At Big Rock I had a good look for the ornate ghostpipefish I'd seen two weeks ago but could not find it. I then swam up to High Pygmy Rock to look for pygmy pipehorses but still could not find any.

I swam past the basket star and on to Diversity Rock. "Daniel" was in the sea tulips and "Arnold" and "Noel" were in the sponges on the rock behind Diversity Rock. I looked for some time for pygmy pipehorses on Diversity Rock but found none. This would be my second dive in a row at The Leap without seeing a pygmy pipehorse.

I headed to the other seahorses and found both "Di" and "Mikhail" on their usual rock. I swam to the boulders, did my safety stop and exited at The Steps.
