It was calm and the tide was low enough for me to jump in from the low platform. I descended and swam to the sand line at around 60° arriving at the Amphitheatre right at Pygmy Rock. Visibility was less than last Wednesday but still over 5 metres. The water temperature was only 15°C. I had a quick look at Pygmy Rock before moving on.

I swam near the sand line towards The Steps and checked out each rock I saw with sponges in the hope of finding some seahorses. I swam on to Seadragon Alley and found the first weedy seadragon up from the sand line. I saw a second shortly after and then a third another 10m or so farther along.

I swam past Big Rock and at Hand Rock I found the male pygmy pipehorse. After a bit of searching I also found the female. I continued on along the sand line and stopped at the rock where Roger found the little yellow painted angler. It was still there in pretty much the same spot.

I headed on to Diversity Rock and found the male weedy seadragon with eggs. There are eyes visible in the eggs so they must not be far from hatching. I then searched for the pygmy pipehorses on Diversity Rock, finding the female immediately and the male shortly after. I did a sweep of the rocks around Diversity Rock and on to the basket star before coming back to the male weedy seadragon.

I swam along the sand line past Little Big Rock and then cut up over the reef to the rock where "Di" and "Mikhail" used to be. I then swam to the boulders, ascended to 5m and started my safety stop while swimming to Split Rock. After I finished my safety stop I exited at The Steps.
