The conditions had been so good for the first dive (and were going to deteriorate over the week so I decided to do a second dive. I knew it wouldn't be as good as it was well after high tide but it was still going to be better than later in the week.

I jumped in and it was obvious that the visibility had dropped. I descended and visibility was not much better than 5 metres. There was also some surge and the outgoing tidal current was quite strong. I turned right and headed towards The Leap. I didn't find the two weedy seadragons this time. I again looked for the sea moth as I swam to Little Big Rock but didn't find it.

At Little Big Rock I came on the diver I'd spoken to at the car park. I had told him there was a pygmy pipehorse on Little Big Rock but he hadn't found it so I pointed out the smallish male. I looked for others but didn't find any.

I headed towards Diversity Rock. I looked on the large rock before Diversity Rock for seahorses and ended up finding a small female pygmy pipehorse. I looked for a male but couldn't find one. I pointed out the pygmy to the other diver. I then looked on Diversity Rock and surrounding rocks for pygmies but found none.

I swam on to Miamira Rock and found the Miamira magnifica at the base. I headed towards Big Rock just above the sand line and when I got to the rock where Roney's pygmies had been I found the other two pygmies. I again checked out the rocks on the upper reef for seahorses but found none. I did find a weedy seadragon in the kelp.

I came back via Miamira Rock and the basket star, swam on to Diversity Rock and the nearby female pygmy pipehorse. I then looked around the rocks up from the sand line including Di's Rock but found nothing of interest. As I was swimming to the boulders I spotted another weedy seadragon.

At the boulders I started my safety stop as I swam to Split Rock. I finished my safety stop and exited at The Steps. The exit was pretty easy even though the swell had picked up a bit.
