After driving all the way to Rapid Bay only to find it was far too rough to dive we came back to Victor Harbor looking for some place to dive. John remembered diving somewhere with Rudie many years ago and we went to Encounter Bay which was familiar to him. It was a little choppy on the surface but we gave it a go. He didn't remember exacly where he dived but had see some leafies.

We got in at the steps and headed north east out over the seagrasses. I was hoping they'd end with a drop off and we might see some leafy seadragons. The seagrasses just kept going so we turned east and the water got deeper but still no seadragons. We then turned south and we came across an ornate cowfish. My strobe cable was playing up so I had a difficult time taking photographs.

We then headed south west back over the seagrasses can got out near the steps.
