For my second dive I dived The Steps proper. Condtions looked much the same as I prepared to get in.
The tide was a lot farther out so I got into the water before putting my fins on. I waded out and then swam out on the surface. Once I had the camera ready, I descended to the sand/kelp. The visibility had dropped a little from the first dive but was still over 5 metres and probably closer to 8. The water temperature was much the same at around 16°C or a bit less. The surge seemed to have dropped a bit.
