For our second dive at Henry Head it was just me as Sheree and Tod went back in 20-30 minutes before we did.
We descended the anchor line and headed south again. I accidentally stayed too shallow and missed the pygmy pipehorses and the wooden hull and lost Cody in the process. I realised my mistake and headed deeper. I found what looked like mating sea hares.
I continued south along the reef but stayed near the sand line. I followed it until the depth was nearly 20 metres. I was hoping to find some weedy seadragons but didn't see a single one.
At around 19m, I headed up into the rocks and looked for seahorses and basket stars. I didn't find any seahorses but I found two basket stars as I headed back towards the boat.
The current wasn't as strong on the way back so it was much easier going. I swam up to Seahorse Rock again and looked it over. I then followed the sand line back to the wooded hull checking the rocks on the way.
I stopped at the rock where Cody had found the pygmies on the first dive and took some more photographs. I then headed to the anchor where I caught up with Cody. We did out safety stops on the anchor line and then surfaced and got back into the boat.
