Notes: This tank up for the triggerfish I caught back in 2001. The triggerfish jumped out of the tank in late 2003 and the tank has been virtually empty since then (other than a cleaner wrasse that was place in the tank temporarily in 2004.)

The tank was overgrown with Caulerpa taxifolia and in late 2004 when keeping of C. taxifolia was made illegal by NSW Fisheries, I blacked the tank out with black plastic for 6 months to kill it all off. The tank is now free from C. taxifolia although a number of Aiptasia made it through the 6 months of darkness.

Since late 2005 the tank is now used for corals. I replaced the lighting with four 24W FHO T5 tubes, have beefed up the circulation and added a protein skimmer. I also added an automatic topoff system which doses Kalkwasser.
