Details

Club dive with St George Underwater Centre.

Pretty much did the usual dive. Headed in at the boat ramp, down the wall, along the wall, out to and around the bommies, back to the wall and back to the entrance.

I had problems with one of my strobes for the dive. It was firing but not contributing light to the scene. I set it to 1/2 power manual and I was able to limp along. I played with it when I got home an realised that it was firing only on the preflash (when the iTTL determines the exposure) but not for the main flash. The meant it was contributing to the exposure calculation but not the exposure itself. Not sure whether the cable is now faulty or I just hadn't secured it properly. More testing required.
