Entered on the northern side of the island, near to the north west tip. Descended to around 5 metres where I saw a tiny octopus dart into a shell. We watched the octopus for 15 minutes hoping it would come out of the shell but it just kept one eye on me and wouldn't come out.

After leaving the octopus we headed to the main reef and then down the north west "ramp" towards the north west reef. We pottered around there looking for seahorses. We didn't find any seahorses but a large lion's mane jellyfish swam by (see video and watch for the opportunist fish that grabs one of the juveniles under the jellyfish).

We returned the way we came and stopped where the octopus had been but it had already gone. We existed at the "boat ramp".
