Details

The 19th dive of the Raja Ampat trip in February 2013 on board the S/Y Indo Siren and the first of five dives in the vicinity of Mansuar Island.

Moving to the northern parts of Raja Ampat meant that we'd be in the area where Pontoh's pygmy seahorses can be found. On the very first dive in the area, Nicole points out 2 to us, one that Ongko found and one that Nicole found herself. It was pretty exciting to see yet another species of pygmy seahorse and then to see 2 species of pipefish as well as flatworms, nudibranchs and commensal shrimp.
