Dive at Chicken Reef, Dampier Strait, Indonesia on 28/2/13 - ATJ's Diving Site

Dive Details

Date

Time

7:38am - 8:32am

Details

The 26th dive of the Raja Ampat trip in February 2013 on board the S/Y Indo Siren and the first of six dives in Dampier Strait. The name of the site is supposedly because some people are too chicken to dive there.

We saw a few large animals like grey reef and white-tip reef sharks, barracuda and mackerel, as well as small animals like Pontoh's pygmy seahorse and nudibranchs. Another enjoyable dive.
