Details

This was not a great weekend for diving in Sydney with string winds and huge seas. Shiprock was one of the few places that were diveable and it was even rough there with waves up to 1 metre in front of the swimming pool. Despite the conditions, we thought it was worth a dive as it would probably be the only dive for the weekend.

We entered at the pool and went straight down the wall. Once off the surface, there was little or no water movement other than the slight tidal current. Visibility was not great but considering how it looked on the surface, it was not too bad.

We moved along the wall and around some of the closer bommies. I turned at around 45 minutes and made my way back to the pool, stopping in front of the pool at around 5 metres.
