Details

We entered to the left of the gravel loader and swam past the rocks to the first piers. There was a lot of a red coloured alga in the water and you could not see the bottom. Once we descended below the algal layer the visibility was actually quite good, being able to see the next set of piers from the current ones. We swam all the way out to the end but didn't see any giant cuttlefish, which is what we'd planned to see. We swam around at the end and a large smooth stingray swam past with an eagle ray just behind it.

We headed to the west and came across a single giant cuttlefish. It didn't hang around at all and swam off. I started to follow it but lost it when I was distracted by seeing the eagle ray again. I tried to find it but to no avail.

We swam back along the western side of the loader under the algal bloom and exited at the rocks.
