Details

Entered at The Steps and went straight down to the sand line amongst the kelp outcrops. Drift towards The Monument on the incoming tide. The current was quite strong and there wasn't much need to kick.

Saw a couple of weedy seadragons along the way. Sheree found "Honey" in the kelp at the base of her usual rock. She was attached to a piece of kelp that itself was not attached. I gently corralled her onto a sponge on the rock so she wouldn't get washed away. Very close to "Honey" was a tiny yellow painted angler that Seb found. Good spotting, Seb!

We drifted further towards The Monument. Both Sheree and I checked out split rock very carefully for seahorses found none. I then drifted to the wall where we have seen "Jaques", "Jill" and "Jackson" but could not find any of them. Above the wall, "Little George", the orange pained angler, was still where we'd seen him last week.

We exited between the corner and the beach, which was a bit of a challenge due to the strong westerly winds blowing up the surface.
