Details

We swam down the anchor line to the anchor which was amongst the rock 20 metres from the cave. We swam to the cave and there were two grey nurse sharks and a number of Port Jackson sharks in the cave. We watched the sharks for a while. I then swam to the right to see if the giant cuttlefish I'd seen last time was still there. It was. When I turned back, everyone had gone.

I then headed to the left to look for the resident wobbegong in the hole. It was there and there were a few more around as well.

I headed out and down to the sand line where I found a large number (20-40) Port Jackson sharks sitting on the sand. I believe they were females waiting to lay their eggs. Many of them were quite fat.

I moved north-west and came across a small wobbegong and two weedy seadragons. I then swam back to the cave and then north-west to look for more giant cuttlefish. I found another 3.

I then swam back to the anchor but couldn't find it and so did a short safety stop in mid-water and surface 20 metres from the boat.
