Details

Entered at the beach and immediately had camera problems. I was trying to take a photo of a cuttlefish when the auto focus was confused by some particulate matter and completely extended the lens. I then couldn't get the camera to focus on anything and the shutter is so sensitive I was just taking photos while trying to focus. I then remembered I could configure the AE Lock button to focus and was able to use that to get the lens back without taking any photos. After that the camera behaved.

Moved along the right hand side through the rocks and out as far as the pile of bricks. Turned and headed back over the sand and seagrass.

Once we got to the clean sand, we found at least two striped pyjama squid, a school of luminous bay squid and one or two southern bottletail squid.

Exited at the beach.
