It was quite rough at The Leap but still diveable, just. I got in on the lower ledge as usual and had only just got both my fins on and was getting ready to jump in when a wave washed me in. All good.

Descended to the sand line and the visibility was only around 5 metres, maybe a bit better. There was quite a bit of surge and a lot of sand was being picked up into the water column.

We made our way towards The Steps. At the rock behind Seahorse Rock we only found "Bob". We couldn't find "Kel" or "Rosie" on the rock. While we were scouting around the surrounding rocks, I found "Lucy" in the finger sponge - although not the same one she'd been on last Sunday. My buddy found "Rosie" on a rock next to the rock that "Bob" was on. We still couldn't find "Kel".

We continued on seeing a weedy seadragon along the way. "Southern Cross" was on her usual rock at the end closest The Leap. We often see her at that end. We managed to find "Richie" who was quite pregnant but were unable to locate "Pierre".

We headed on towards The Steps, seeing another weedy seadragon. We got to the rock where we've seen "Dana", the tiny red painted angler, but could not find it.

We were getting low on air and headed up to the shallows to do our safety stop while swimming to The Steps. As the tide was still quite low, the exit was quite easy.
