We got in at the little baylet on the north western corner of the island and headed to the left. We descended and swam into a small school of striped catfish.

We headed south to the wall and then swam along the wall to the south east. We swam a fair way along the wall and then turned and came back.

Kim spotted a tiny Noumea sulphurea nudibranch that is so small I had trouble photographing it. I don't know how she saw it.

Kim then pointed out a yellow female pot-bellied seahorse. This was the first time I'd seen a seahorse at Bare Island. A little further along I spotted a brown male pot-bellied seahorse. I went from none to two in a very short space of time.

As we moved around the south western corner of the island, we headed out over the low reefs. Kim then spotted a Flabellina rubrolineata nudibranch and a flathead.

We followed the edge of the island all the way around to the northern side and came up near the ramp and we exited next to the ramp because the tide was so low.
