Details

It was overcast and threatening rain at Bare Island and the swell was more from the south than had been forecast. It still looked quite clear on the northern side of the island and we thought we'd chance the end of the wall to look for the seahorses.

It was too rough on the corner so we had to jump in on the northern side of the island and swim around the corner to the south west. Just around the corner we descended and headed south to the wall. We dropped over the wall and turned to the left, following the wall to the north west. At the end of the wall we started looking for the seahorses. I managed to find the black and red female, "Della" quite quickly but it took over 10 minutes to find the second seahorse, a male, "Tomas". It then took a further 6 minutes before Kim found the yellow female, "Kim". The yellow female is usually the easiest to find. We looked around for a bit longer but were not able to find any others so we headed off.

We headed north across the sand until we hit the shallow wall, near where the painted angler used to be. We looked for the angler but couldn't find it. We followed the wall around north-west, then north, and eventually east to come back to the northern side of the island. We exited at the "boat ramp".
