High tide was quite early so this was more of a twilight dive than a night dive. We got in on the western side of the western groin outside the nets and headed north to the corner than turned east along the nets. The nets themselves were in the process of being taken down and for most of their length were rolled up. The surge was pretty bad and that stirred up sand from the bottom. It made photography very difficult. After getting to the eastern end of the pool area I came back along the nets making small excursions north and south hoping to find something interesting. The only thing of note was a tiny (around 2 cm long) cuttlefish and a couple of Plocamorpherus imperialis nudibranchs along the nets. I came back along the eastern side of the western groin. |
