For this dive I wanted to check out the seahorses and also look for the white/pink pygmy pipehorse we saw on the night dive last week. The tide was too low to get in on the western side of the island so we waded out through the swimming pool and surface swam around the corner. We descended and headed out at 210°. I would normally swim at 240° to get the the seahorses but I wasn't sure I had the starting point correct. We ended up near the end of the wall and only had a short swim to the seahorses. We found both seahorses, "Tomas" and "Della".

We headed west along the reef and I tried to find the red-fingered angler we'd seen on the night dive last week but I didn't find it.

We turned and swam north over the sand until we hit the shallow reef. I looked around for the area where the white/pink pygmy had been. I know I was in the right area but couldn't locate the exact spot.

We headed west, north-west and then north around the wall. I overshot the spot where the other two pygmies had just been and Kim called me back. We had another look but could not find the pygmy pipehorses.

We swam east and split up to look for pygmies and nudibranchs. I eventually made it to the rocks with the sponges and sea tulips where I found one of the pygmies we'd seen earlier in the week.

I swam past the sentries and then followed the reef around doing my safety stop on the way to exit near the ramp where I met up with Kim.
