This was the second dive of the day on Bent with Sydney Tasman Divers. I didn't visit Henry Head at all in 2014 but this was my third trip in 10 weeks. I love Henry Head, especially for the seahorses, but we didn't seen any on the last two trips. I was hoping to find some Pygmy Pipehorses.

Joe anchored the boat to the north of the remains of the wreck on the bottom. After securing the anchor, George, Paula, and I headed south along the sand line. I swam past the rock where "Halle", "Bernard" and "Lee", pot-bellied seahorses had once been. I checked out the rock and could not see any seahorses a tall. Just past this rock I found a red indianfish.

We continued on to Seahorse Rock. I looked very carefully as I had done on the last two dives here but this time I was rewarded with a pregnant male seahorse. It appears this is the male seahorse, "Francis", I saw in December 2013. Seeing as "Francis" was pregnant there must be a female close by. I looked all over Seahorse Rock and surrounding rocks but could not find her. Another trip to Henry Head is in order.

While I was looking for the female, Paula found a grey red-fingered angler. It was a great find.

George and Paula headed back to the boat and I stayed to look for seahorses (I had given up looking for pygmy pipehorses by now). I managed to find another two red indianfish. I waited for Joe and Wayne came along and I pointed out the red indianfish, angler and seahorse before heading back to the boat myself. I looked for seahorses along the way. I did my safety stop on the anchor line.
