It was calm again at Bare Island although there were small waves breaking on the eastern and southern sides. We jumped in on the northern side of the island just to the west of the ramp. We surface swam for a while and then dropped down to the sand. Visibility was around 8 metres.

We swam over the sand to the reef. We missed the outboard motor and went on the other side of the kelp but still ended up at the top of the slope. I had a look for the male pygmy pipehorse at the stop of the slope but couldn't find it.

We headed down the slope. At the 3rd rock with the pink sea tulips I found both the male and female pygmy pipehorses. The male (IL2015101401) was down low as it had been a week ago. The female (IL2015073101) was also down low on the rock near the sand. We continued down the slope. At the rock above Pygmy Rock I found the male pygmy pipehorse (IL2015073104) immediately as he hadn't moved from Saturday. The female (IL2015101402) took a little longer to find.

Further down the slope I found a new female pygmy pipehorse (IL2015110901). She was on the rock with the Coscinaraea mcneilli colony.

I left Kim with that pymgy and continued to the corner. I saw the two white pygmy pipehorses (IL2015081402 and IL2015081403) on the way. At the corner in front of the caves I looked for the large pregnant male Kim and I have seen on previous dives but I could not find it. I couldn't even find the tube worm it was attached to.

I turned and headed back up the slope going past the white pygmies, the new pygmy and the pair on the rock above pygmy rock. I bypassed the rock with the pink sea tulips and went straight up the slope and started my safety stop as I swam to the exit. I passed Kim along the way as she was photographing a leaf fish. I exited on the northern side of the island.
