I got in at the steps and headed straight out. I followed the reef down to around 10 metres. The tide was still coming in so there was a bit of current so I drifted with it along the reef. I then swam against the current back across the reef. I gradually made my way shallower.

Near the end of the dive I spotted a pygmy yellow-tail angelfish under some rocks in around 5 metres of water. I have been wanting to find one since my collecting days and it was thrilling to finally see one in the wild. I spent the rest of the dive trying to get a decent photograph. I exited at the steps.
