For the second dive we jumped in at The Steps, descended to the sand line and turned left towards The Monument. We swam past the kelp and followed the sand line until the approximate area where John had shown me the little orange painted angler. He'd recently found and even smaller one. I eventually found the spot and found the small one. I looked around the area but could not find the tiny one.

We continued on towards The Monument. We stopped at the square rock to look for the seahorses and larger orange painted angler. I found the angler straight away hiding under a sponge on the rock. It took me some time to find the seahorse, "Michael". I then looked around the area and eventually found "Deborah" on the sand. I was not able to find "Duncan" or "Charlie".

We followed the sand line to the wall and I spotted a Nembrotha purpureolineata on the way. At the wall I found "Christopher" on a sea tulip but could not find any other seahorses. We turned and headed back to The Steps.

We stopped at the seahorses and I had another unsuccessful search for the other seahorses. We also stopped at the small angler where I looked for the tiny one again, without success. We then followed the sand line. On the way we saw 3 weedy seadragons.

Back at The Steps we did our safety stop and exited.
