For the second dive we were just going to potter around at the bottom of the slope and hopefully find the female great seahorse. We jumped in on the northern side of the island to the west of the ramp, surface swap for a short way and descended near the outboard motor. Visibility was down a little from the earlier dive but the temperature was warmer.

We swam over the sand past the boulders to the top of the slope. As we headed down the slope I looked for and found the slender seamoth Donna had found on the previous dive. Farther down the slope we came to the female and small juvenile pygmy pipehorses at the top end of the rock above Pygmy Rock.

I continued on down the slope to look for the great seahorses. I found the male in the kelp near where he'd been on the previous dive. I couldn't find the red indianfish that had been nearby. I found the clown Toby again.

I searched all around the area for the female and Donna and Kim joined me in the search. While looking over near the wall I found a pipefish and pointed it out to Kim and Donna. Donna found a pygmy pipehorse on Juvy Rock and showed me. We did not find the female great seahorse.

We headed slowly back up the slope stopping at the pygmy pipehorses and then the slender seamoth. We made our way in front of the boulders, past the outboard motor and along to the exit.
