We got out to Henry Head pretty early and the surface water did not look clear at all. We jumped in and it seemed reasonably warm but the visibility was shocking. We descended the anchor line and the deeper we got the better the viz got but it also got colder, a lot colder.

We headed down the slope to the edge of the rocks and then moved south until we got to "Halle"'s rock. It was only a short swim because the boat was in the perfect place. "Lee" was in the sea tulips at the northern end of the rock but there was no sign of "Halle" or "Bernard". I mad a few passes around the rock but could not see them at all.

We then headed to Seahorse Rock where I spotted all four seahorses, "Daniela", "Pedro", "Nadja" and "Lotte" almost immediately, however, "Nadja" moved pretty quickly and I couldn't verify the count. As I was looking for the "fourth" seahorse I discovered a juvenile male seahorse, "Neville", in one of the green fan sponges. He was quite small.

I moved down to the nearby rocks and found "Desmond" in his usual gap. I looked around the area but could not find "Nellie". While looking for "Nellie" I found a red indianfish in the kelp and then Karolyn and Seb pointed out another that was out in the open. I had trouble seeing them because of the huge number of small sea jellies in the water. They were around for most of the dive and frequently photo bombed.

We then headed further south looking over all the sponge covered rocks for more seahorses or anglers but found neither.

I made another pass looking for "Nellie" to no avail and then back to Seahorse Rock to see the seahorse there again. On the way back to the boat I had another look for "Halle" and "Bernard" but could not find them.

I found the anchor and did my safety stop and got back in the boat.
