2017 - A Year In Review
Sunday 31 December 2017 2017 - A Year In Review

As I have done in previous years, here's my review of my diving in 2017. It was another great year of diving. It is almost like each year is better than the previous year but perhaps it is just that the year just finished is fresher in my mind. Sydney diving is so good at the moment but I also got to dive in Mexico and I finally got to South Australia and saw some leafy seadragons for the first time. Yet again I saw some organisms in Sydney for the first time.   More...

2016 - A Year In Review
Monday 16 January 2017 2016 - A Year In Review

2016 was a fantastic year of diving. All my diving was done in Sydney at familiar dive sites other than a weekend trip to Port Stephens. This didn't mean a boring year of diving and I saw some incredible organisms around Sydney. The only dampener for the year was the massive storm that hit Sydney in June and its after effects are still being felt.   More...

2014 - A Year In Review
Monday 9 February 2015

I don't think 2014 was a better year for diving than 2013 but it came pretty close. I didn't do as many dives but I still saw many incredible things and even saw some new things. I also managed to get at least one dive in for every weekend of the year.   More...

Raja Apmat - February 2013
Monday 9 February 2015 Raja Apmat - February 2013

In February 2013, I went on another Siren Fleet trip, this time to Raja Ampat on board the S/Y Indo Siren. The guests were a mix of groups rather than a single group like the Komodo trip. We had 8 guests from the US, 3 from the UK, 2 from Germany, 1 from NZ and just me holding up the Aussie flag. The crew included Daeng as Captain (he'd also captained the S/Y Pa Siren on the Komodo Trip) and Nicole who had been one of the divemasters on the Komodo trip. The rest of the crew were all new, but they soon became friends.   More...
